Disabling dates

  1. I'm interested in purchasing the gravity forms plugin for use on a restaurant website. I'm looking at offering reservations online, and basically need the customer to fill in their contact details, number of persons at the table and date/time. However, I would also like the ability to disable certain dates/times within the backend (when they are fully booked). Would this be possible using gravity forms? If not, do you know any suitable alternative?

    Many thanks.

  2. This is possible. However, it is not easily manageable from the backend in Gravity Forms. The date picker is the jQuery UI datepicker. Documentation for that can be found here http://jqueryui.com/datepicker/

You can prevent certain dates from being selected with the datepicker, but it always involves adding some code to a file, not something in the form builder or admin area. It would not be something I want to do every day, based on capacity.

I'm not sure how you were planning on displaying available dates and times, but I don't think Gravity Forms would be right, considering the lack-of-ease of managing date and time availability.
