Double Email Responder (WP and Gravity)

I have everything setup perfectly. I have custom Gravity emails for new user sign ups but how can I stop the generic wordpress email from being sent to the new user?

My new users and I (admin) receive two emails. One from Wordpress and one from Gravity (custom email).

No that just allows you to customize the built in Wordpress emailer. I want to turn off the WP email system (disable it).

I want to use the one that comes with Gravity. There has to be a way to do this. I wouldn't believe that Gravity would make the option to send emails when visitors sign up and visitors receive two emails.

Anybody know how to turn off the standard Wordpress email?

Maybe gravity could make their custom email area edit the Wordpress one instead of creating another one.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

  4. Chris, sorry, I probably should have highlighted just a certain piece from that thread. Right now its currently not a built-in feature of GF. But there's probably a WordPress hook that could be used to tell WordPress not to send it since that's an email that WordPress is sending automatically.
