Drag and drop new field not working

  1. When adding a new field to an existing form, the new field is stuck at the bottom and I can't drag it up.

For example I've discovered I need to add a "name" field at the top of one form - but the default add position is at the bottom. And drag is not working.

    thanks

  2. Please make sure you are using the latest Gravity Forms and WordPress releases. If that is true, please check for theme and plugin conflicts by following these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing

In what browser are you experiencing the problem? And does it happen in other browsers?

  3. thanks for your reply. I guess the issue may be that I've not yet upgraded the WP and GF releases. too many potential conflicts.

    I"m using Firefox.

  4. That is possible. We always recommend staying current with both WordPress and Gravity Forms releases. The latest Gravity Forms requires at least WordPress 3.3. What versions of Gravity Forms and WordPress are you currently using?

  5. Chris - I just purchased Gravity Forms today. I am using Wordpress 3.4.2 and Chrome browser. Within Form Editor, I click on the standard, or advanced fields, the field does not appear on the new form. Could you help?
    Thank you Diane

  7. David - I followed the instructions for testing, the add field function still does not work on the new form. Do you have other suggestions? If not, how can I cancel my purchase of gravity forms because it does not work?

Can you give me more information about the issue?

When Gravity Forms is installed on WordPress with no other mods, and the Twenty Eleven theme activated, you aren't able to add elements to a form? Is that correct?

The issue you are experiencing is usually only one of two things:
    - JavaScript conflict that the steps linked before will fix
    - PHP/WordPress memory is low.

  10. Yes, I only have Gravity Forms, and deleted any other Gravity Form plug ins.
Within Gravity Forms - Form Editor
I can edit Form Settings, but can not add fields to the form
When clicking on the form fields from Standard or Advanced Fields menu, the hand appears, the test within the box changes colors, but the fields does not appear on the form.

So, that could be a JavaScript conflict or PHP / Wordpress memory is low. How do I resolve that?

  11. Thank you for your help. how do I cancel my membership to gravity forms?

It isn't a membership. You purchased a product, not a service. For more information regarding any potential refunds, please look here:
