Drop Down Field - populate dynamically

    I'm looking for advice on how to hook into the API to prepopulate a dynamic drop down for my form.

    My specific need is I'm using Gravity Form with BuddyPress on a group page.

    I'd like to have a drop down where the people using the form can select one of the group members as the person who referred them to the page.
