drop down with quantity and price

  1. Hi,
Trying to create a "create your own basket" order form.
    http://lecayinc.com/lwp/custom-gift-baskets/
I need to be able to show a product with one price, multiple flavors and have a quantity field. I have set it up with a drop-down and then a price/quantity field below it, but it's hard to distinguish it from the next product. I've also created a price field with drop-down, price (1st Jam), but the price doesn't show and the quantity disappears. Is there a good way to a: put a fieldset around the dropdown and price fields or b: use the price field with the dropdown and have everything show? Please advise.
    Thanks

  3. Gravity Forms does not use fieldsets.

When you use a Product Field and set it to a Dropdown field type there is no quantity field. It assumes the quantity is 1 if the item is select. If you need a Quantity you then add a Quantity field and tie it to that Product Field, it's an option when editing the Quantity field to select which Product field it is the quantity for.

I'm not 100% sure if you are using the Pricing Fields correctly. Look at this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/FedY6.png

Is the first field (the drop down) a Product Field or an Option Field?

Because it should be an Option Field. The Product is what they are purchasing (Jam), the Option would be the flavor (Sparkling Plum).

You should really be presenting the Jam with it's price and quantity first as a Single Product field, and then below it an Option Field for that product with the available flavors and a field label of something like "Select a Flavor".

Because you have multiple Product fields you also need to make sure you tie each Option field to the correct Product field. You select which Product field the Option goes with when editing the Option field.

  4. If using a Dropdown product where is the price displayed?

  5. You would want to include the price as part of each option label so it shows in the drop down with the name.
