Dual action form: download and capture info

I'm looking for a form solution that can start a file download on submit and optionally capture name and e-mail address and pass it to our mailing list sign up. Do you think Gravity Forms could be wrangled into doing both of those actions on submit? All the features look great so I'm hoping it can.

  2. Could you have a link to the download on the confirmation page, after the form is submitted? That way you could capture what you want to the form, and allow access to the download on the "Thank You" page.

Or maybe you could use a Redirect as the confirmation page, and have the URL of the download (PDF or whatever.)

  3. I am trying to do the same thing. Did you ever find a good solution?

  4. I found that the form submission closed the popup, so we are still exploring options here. It may have to do with the form submission script, or how it 'posts'. We needed the popup to remain open in cases where there were form errors or we wanted to provide a download link upon form submission.

  5. @Clocktower Media, please open a new topic in the support forums if you need assistance with something. Please be sure to include a URL to the page on your site where we can see the form, and let us know what custom scripts or plugins you are using. Thank you.
