Can you please go through the following steps? It is most likely a theme or plugin conflict:

  5. This issue is going to be javascript issue and David's response above is the correct first step to trying to debug it.

If you are positive you completed the theme and plugin conflict resolution test correctly, then the issue is going to be either related to data in the field you are trying to duplicate OR a PHP memory issue preventing the AJAX from executing properly.

The first thing to do is determine if it's only this field and/or form that you can't duplicate.

Can you add a new Single Input field to your form and duplicate it without an issue? Or is duplication not working at all on this form?

Is duplication working on other forms? Can you create a brand new form, simply add a Single Input field to it and then duplicate that field?

  6. I am having the same issue. I changed my theme to WP them Twenty Twelve and disabled all the plug ins accept for the Gravity Form Plug in. I logged out and back in, still no ability to duplicate fields.

  7. I just tried again and got a message that said "Ajax error while duplicating field"

Did you try the instructions Carl mentioned above regarding creating a blank form with a simple field and duplicating it? If so, and that didn't work, then it might be a memory issue.

Please follow the following steps and increase both your available PHP and WordPress memory:

@4wehelp, let me know if you were able to resolve this problem. I am going to pay someone to have a look

It seems the "help" is just pointing to articles. For a plugin at $99 per year, I personally expect more. I also subscribe to wpmudev.org and pay $419 per year but get about 200+ plugins and themes with much more proactive support.

No one is even attempting to request via PM logins and have a look.

I was once a big believer in this forms builder but gr8 support is needed to make this product really viable.

    I am still disappointed

  10. @infotechd Considering you didn't reply back with follow up to my response or David's below that, i'm not sure what you are expecting. I asked you specific questions related to the issue that I needed answered in order to assist you with the issue.

WIth no response back how do we know if what we asked allowed you to resolve the issue? Or that you had not been able to correct it on your own? Unless you reply back to us we have no way of knowing. We get far too many support requests to be able to follow up with each user we are awaiting a response from. Support is a two way dialog and both sides need to be responsive.

Pointing to articles that contain debugging steps that we wrote specifically for users to follow so we can better understand the issue is an important step in debugging a javascript issue considering 99% of javascript issues we encounter are caused by theme and plugin conflicts. Conflicts occur when a theme or another plugin is outputting bad code which can break good code.

Requesting a login would have been the next step had you actually answered the questions I asked you in my reply above.

If you aren't satisfied with the slower nature that support forums bring with them then you should have purchased the Developer License that includes Priority Support.

Send me an email at carl@rocketgenius.com and provide me with the URL of the site, a WordPress admin login and let me know which form is having the issue or if it occurs with any form.

And please... answer the questions I asked in my last post above. I need that information in order to fully understand the issue you are experiencing.
