Duplicate test on calculated field

  1. Hi all,
i'm trying to make a control on 3 numeric fields in a form, exploiting the calculation function of a fourth numeric field that has to make the sum of the first 3 fileds checking the "No Duplicate" rule.
Unfortunately it's not working, because, despite the role, the form is send anyway with no errors.
Is there any chance to make working the role on calculation filed, or some modification i can do?

    Thanks

  2. So you are saying that on each of the 3 number fields you don't want duplicates on those fields or you don't want duplicates on the 4th field or you don't want duplicates on any of the 4 number fields? Can you post a link to your form?

  3. Simply i don't want duplicate in the 4th field (that is an automatic value due the sum of the fields 1 + fields 2 + fields 3)

  4. I did a quick test locally and this worked fine. I entered "2" in each of the three number fields which resulted in "6", then submitted and it went through. Then I did the same thing again and got this: Screenshot

Are you running the latest versions of WP and GF? Can you post a link to your form?

  5. I made other test...
If you use little numbers it effectively works.
    2+2+2+2=8 WORK.

But using large numbers the problem occurs.
    In my case i've:
    Field 1: "150"
Filed 2: "1259" (corresponding to an hour)
Filed 3: "2499" (corresponding to an import)
    Filed 4: "05022012" (corresponding to a date)

    Field 5 (SUM): 5.025.920

The form let me insert this value more than one time...

So i think it's a bug if it's working for little numbers and not for big ones.
