edit Invalid URL information

  1. Hi,

I am looking to change the error message: "Please enter a valid Website URL (i.e. http://www.gravityforms.com)."

All I want to do is to be able to change the example URL to my sites URL. I believe that this will look better and may also be better understood by the visitor, showing the visitor the URL they are on, opposed to a URL they (probably) have never heard of.

I have no problems in promoting Gravity Forms, as it is amazing and allows me to create complex forms in minutes, but i don't think in the form is the place to do it.

Is there a function for this, similar to the one you can use for changing the "First" & "Last" name descriptions?

    Thanks

If you edit the field then click on the advanced tab you will find a space where you can enter your own customised validation message.

  3. Thanks richardvav, I knew that his was an option but really wanted to control it at a functions.php level so that on websites with multiple forms, it occurs automatically.

I completely understand, if I remember correctly there is a filter for changing validation messages but I think it only applies to the main message.
