Email Notifications - {all_fields} NOT Returning ALL Fields

This has been going on since approximately the first week of July 2011, but I finally paid attention and figured it out. When the user selects a conditional field which reveals additional fields and the user enters information into those additional fields, the email notification is NOT including the additional fields in the notification.

For example, the user enters their application with name, address, etc. and if they choose the "Family" option then several additional fields are displayed so they can enter additional family names if desired. When they enter additional family names they are not being included in the email notification.

The information that the user entered into the additional fields exists in the entry, but is not being included in the email notification. I'm using {all_fields} - which I've been using all the time. It used to work properly, and I haven't changed anything for months.

Running WP 3.2.1 with Thesis 1.8 and Gravity Forms 1.5.2.8 (and Gravity Forms Paypal add-on 1.2.3). I haven't touched Thesis in months, but I generally upgrade WP and Gravity Forms shortly after an upgrade is available.

  2. Is this happening when a user fills out these fields and then changes the conditional value so they are hidden again? Or is it happening when the conditional is still in effect and the fields are still shown when the form is submitted?

Nobody else has reported this issue so any additional details you may know would be extremely helpful. Also if you could export the form to XML using the export tool, provide us a link to the XML and provide us step by step instructions on how to recreate the issue that would be most helpful.

I'll have to test a few things and get back to you.

I'm pretty sure it occurs even if they fill in the form "normally" (without switching the conditional field back and forth). When the conditional field is in effect, the additional fields are still shown when the form is submitted.

Unfortunately I can only seem to get an email notification after the user submits payment (via the Paypal addon), so I can't test it very easily.

    The exported form is here.

  5. Before I test that form export, let me know exactly what form selections I should make and what I should fill in to reproduce the problem.

OK, here's a screen shot of sample data filled into that form.

  7. I'm getting a 404 error when I click on that screenshot link.

  8. I experienced something similar and I have a feeling it is connected to selecting:
Send admin notification only when payment is received.
Send user notification only when payment is received.

I created a registration/payment form and the notification emails included all fields at first. After I selected the options above under the Paypal settings, the email notifications did not include all submitted fields. They are, however, included in the "Entries' section.

Please let me know what information you might need from me that would be helpful to you.

    Thank you so much.

  9. I am having the same problem. Conditionally displayed fields are included in the admin notifications section, but not in the email to administrators. I also am using the setting to only send the notification after payment is complete.

  10. This was indeed a bug. I have fixed it in 1.6 beta 2.1 version (which hasn't been released yet). Please email me at alex@rocketgenius.com to get the latest version with the fix.
