Email Notifications not working

  1. I cannot seem to get the email notifications working properly.

I have installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin and tested it with 2 different email addresses: an address associated with my domain and a gmail address. In both cases, I received the test email from WP Mail SMTP within seconds. However, I'm still not receiving any notifications of replies to my Gravity forms.

This is the one I've been testing: http://www.hibiscuscreative.com/contact/

Dreamhost is my host, and I run hibiscuscreative.com address with Gmail. I previously used the cforms plugin for the form on this page, and I received notifications with no problem. I'm not sure why one plugin would send emails instantly and another would not. Please help.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. This is the second time I have started a forum topic about this issue, and I have yet to receive a response from the support team. I would love to use Gravity Forms, and in theory, I love the possibilities, but it's just not working for me, and I have had no luck in troubleshooting.

Now, the 2 forms that I created that use conditional logic are not showing up at all in certain browsers. I may have to just switch back to cforms, which wasn't as elegant, but at least it worked.

  3. Gravity Forms doesn't send the email notifications, your web server does. Your web server is what sends the email, Gravity Forms just executes the wp_mail() function call and asks your web server to send the email. If there is any problem with emails not being sent, it's going to be a problem with your web server most likely, unless they are getting spammed?

Can you send me a login to your admin so I can check out the forms with conditional logic to rob@rocketgenius.com

  4. I have followed all the instructions for troubleshooting the email problem to the letter. I tested the WP Mail plugin, and I received those messages just fine, regardless of whether I used the email address attached to my domain or my gmail address. Also, when I use other contact form plugins, like cforms, I receive email notifications with no problem. There also seem to be a lot of other people who have had this issue. This leads me to believe that there must be something different about the way Gravity forms executes the wp_mail() function.

It is an annoyance, but I can live without notifications if I can't get this fixed. But I'm not sure what's going on with the display of my forms. My main contact form is fine: http://hibiscuscreative.com/contact

However, my two, more extensive questionnaires using conditional logic don't display on the iPad or on a couple of other browsers: http://hibiscuscreative.com/contact/web-questionnaire and http://hibiscuscreative.com/contact/logo-questionnaire

I'll send you my login info in just a minute.

  5. Solved via email - the notifications and form display was due to a plugin conflict.
