Entries being list in Posts Index in WordPress Admin

  1. We installed Gravity Forms on a clients site and they've notified us that any submissions that are received via the Contact form on the site, which is a Gravity Form, are listed as drafts in the Posts index in the WordPress admin. Luckily they're saved as drafts and not posted to the site's blog but why is this happening?

  2. That is likely because you have used "Post Fields" in creating your form. Don't use post fields unless you want to create posts.

You may need to recreate those fields in your form and have them NOT be post fields (use the choices from the Standard or Advanced sections of the form editor). Once you remove all the post fields from the form, you won't have any more draft posts being created.
