Entries from a particular user consistently flagged as spam

  1. I use Gravity forms to receive submissions for a monthly blog carnival. There is one person whose submission has been flagged by GF as spam every month for several months now. All other submissions are going through just fine. Akismet integration is not active. Is there a way to "whitelist" the user, or to disable this feature altogether?

Can you tell us more about what is happening? Do you currently have one flagged as spam so I can have have a look? Do you have any spam filtering plugins installed an active on your WordPress blog? Any details that can give us more information on what makes this user special will help us troubleshoot the issue.

  3. I have already marked it as "not spam" and probably won't have another one like it until next month. In addition to Akismet, I have Bad Behavior installed. Could that do it?

After I posted this, I found another post here where someone was able to resolve a similar problem by deactivating and then reactivating GF and Akismet, so I tried that, but again I probably won't know until next month whether it worked.

Yes, any entry, just like a comment on your site is filtered through any and all ant-spam plugins you install. One or both of those could be leading to your issue.
