Entry IDs missing

  1. Hi, I am a very happy Gravity Forms user and I have used it on pretty much all of the websites I develop. I have one client who, when you look at their list of entries for a particular form, has a number of entries missing from the list. Does this mean entries have been lost or is there another reason that the numbers are out-of-sync? I wasn't sure if the form automatically assigns an ID to the entry when the page is visited and if the user doesn't fill in the form the ID simply stays used?

    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Entry IDs are sequential and unique across all forms. So, if you have three forms, entry 1, 2 and 3 might be in form one, entry 4 in form three, entry 5 in form two and then entry 6 back in form one. So the IDs for the entries in form one would be 1, 2, 3, 6. Is that what you are experiencing.
