extra space added to bottom of form

  1. I have extra space below my form. I can give my website if that's needed. I found this solution, unfortunately those pre tags aren't around the form shortcode when I view in HTML mode.
Thank you for any suggestions you may have! I have been banging my head against a wall trying to fix this issue!
    Thanks!

Why do I have extra space above and below my form?
Usually this happens when you copy the form short code directly from the help page and paste it into the visual editor. Often it pastes the

tags in the markup which then causes the formatting issues.

You can go to the page the form resides on, view the content in the editor using the HTML tab and if you see the

tags around your form shortcode, simply remove them.

Complete information on embedding forms can be found in the documentation at the URL below:

  2. Please post a link to your site so we can see what you're talking about.

Please also see this recent topic with the exact same problem as yours:

I would guess you need to add the [raw] [/raw] shortcode around the [gravityforms] shortcode. See here for discussion: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/tags/raw

With a link to your form we'll be able to know for sure.

  3. solution worked great. in the hyperlink post you mentioned the possibility of unintended consequences down the road. Seems concerning. What should I be worried about?

Thanks again for helping me with this! Space went away, which is great.

  4. You might have trouble with other shortcodes down the road. If you do, it could be related to this functionality and you should remove the raw shortcode function from your theme, especially if you're not using it. The raw shortcode changes how all shortcodes are processed, which is why the gravityforms shortcode output was modified with extra HTML markup.
