Feature Request - Dropbox upload

  1. I just saw that JotForm added the ability to have file attachments uploaded to a Dropbox folder. What a great idea! I'd love to see this added to Gravity Forms.

  2. I'll second that request! Please and thanks!

  3. I actually just saw that today, a DropBox Add-On is a good idea. We'll have to see how it could be handled. It would make a good Add-On.

  4. This would be HUGE! Even though there are so many different services -- dropIO, YouSendIt, etc., etc., etc. -- we always want our clients to use our site as much as possible. Having a form with upload to Dropbox would be awesome.

  5. Casting my vote for this as well! If JotForm can do it, I know you guys would crush it :D

And it would be a huge, huge benefit to use Gravity Forms that way. Suddenly client assets would be easily uploaded by non-web-saavy clients and services like YouSendIt would be totally unnecessary.

Makes me drool at the thought...

  7. I can't even tell you how awesome this would be. I just discovered Jotforms, and was sad that I might have to build a form without Gravity. You guys could knock this out of the park!

    I really need it too!

BTW it's possible to adopt a solution by sending the upload to an email address using the service http://sendtodropbox.com ?

Here is an article showing how it is possible using another contact form plugin: http://www.reverbstudios.ie/1703/batch-upload-to-dropbox-via-wordpress/

  14. Adding a vote for this. If you combine Dropbox sync with the progress bar add-on that you mentioned in another post, this would be very useful and much appreciated.

  22. - be great to have this .... http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/upload-files-to-cloud-storage ... might be a start for someone... also http://www.oblaksoft.com/wordpress-on-s3-newsletter-may-2012/ ... seems that you may be able to simply take website contents (included whatever is uploaded) directly to the cloud....
