Field Entry Max

  1. Hello,

I know that Gravity Forms has the ability to disable a form after so many entries. However, can this came thing be done per field. I have created a form with a drop down selection. I want to know if Gravity Forms has the ability to de-activate each selection once it has reached a quota?

Please let me know if this is possible.

  2. Currently it's only support on a per form basis. It's not supported per field.

We do plan on updating drop down, radio button and checkbox fields so that when the "Require Unique" rule is enabled it will hide any selections that have already been chosen, however we haven't discussed allowing it to allow a certain number of entries.

I'm not sure how this could be implemented as a customization either, due to the requirement of having to query the existing field data, etc.

  3. Thanks so much for your reply. I will just let the client know that at this time no option exists for that kind of customization.

    Thanks :-)

  4. Also keep in mind that it may be something we add in the future. Gravity Forms is constantly evolving and we add enhancements regularly. Per entry limitations are a cool idea so I wouldn't rule it out in the future.
