FIeld labels in fields

  1. I'm working with a client who wants their three field labels displayed inside the fields as is common these days. Have reviewed the support topics on the GF site but can't find out how to do this. CSS isn't working and I don't see a way to populate the "value" tag in the code. The staging site is http://s134821.gridserver.com and the newsletter sign up in the header is what I'm working with. Thanks!

  2. You probably want placeholder functionality. Please try this 3rd party add-on. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-placeholders/

  3. Hey thanks, that worked. Are you planning to implement that in a future release too?

  4. Placeholder text is under consideration for a future release, especially once HTML5 is more widely adopted.
