Flowplayer conflicting with Gravity Forms conditional logic?

    Hello,

    Page: http://goo.gl/Qg0zq

Website is currently running WP3.5, but the problem occured before updating the core installation (today) as well.

After 'lalala' on that page there's a GF using conditional logic. Except the form isn't visible. You can find it in the source code though.

We went through all the plugins and as soon as Flowplayer is activated, the problem occurs. Having pinpointed this issue, is there any way we can make Flowplayer and Gravity Forms get along nicely?

Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give us.

Can I have you exclude Gravity Forms and Flowplayer JavaScripts from whatever minify system you are using? When you tested before, it was just with Gravity Forms and Flowplayer alone?

Sorry, keep forgetting about minify. It should be disabled now.

We've tested it on this domain and on an entirely different one. The problem only shows up when both GF and Flowplayer are activated as far as we've been able to tell. Other plugins are enabled as well. It's just Flowplayer that seems to conflict with GF, causing this conditonal form to 'dissapear' from sight.

Please let me know if I can provide additional information.

So now I do see an error of Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method 'first' conditional_logic.js:219 and I can let our development team know about it. Currently I don't have any fix for you, but if they can re-create the issue, we will look to seeing what we can do about patching it. All my best!

    Neat, thanks!

I recall having trouble in the past regarding Featured Content Gallery js not playing nicely with another plugin. I managed to only call the FCG js on the homepage (only place where it was needed) and make sure it didn't run on any other pages. But it was quite a hassle and not update proof.

So after some Googling, I discovered Plugin Organizer (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/plugin-organizer/). When using the right settings, this will allow you to manually prevent certain plugins from executing on specific posts or pages. So for now, we'll just prevent flowplayer from executing on any pages where we want to get freaky with Gravity Forms.

Hope this solution helps someone in the future. :)

  6. Thank you for posting that. That plugin looks useful for working around plugin conflicts when the plugin code cannot be changed.
