Forgive The Noob Question

  1. Hello,

    Just purchased the single license for a site and following the installation instructions says to use the Upload function within Wordpress however the download of Gravity is not a .zip file thus the Upload function will not work.

    For those not in the know can someone please explain how to do a manual installation since upload won't work.

    Thank you,
    Derek

  3. You can FTP into your web host, go to the wp-content/plugins folder of your WordPress web site and then upload the gravityforms folder there. Then go to the plugins page in the WordPress admin and activate Gravity Forms. Unless you can maintain the zip archive you will have to upload it manually via FTP.

  4. Quick note here.. if you're using Safari, you can turn off the automatic unzipping feature this way..

    Safari->Preferences->General
    Uncheck "Open Safe Files After Downloading"

    Hope that helps.
