Form display error

  1. I think the best way to describe the problem would be for you to see it.

The form displays the first question normally, then lists an HTML block from ANOTHER form. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

Does it show up this way in the preview mode? What version of Gravity Forms and WordPress do you have?

  3. Yes, it shows that way in preview mode. We're using WordPress 3.4.1 and gravity forms Version 1.6.4.5.

  5. If you duplicate the form and embed that duplicate form, does the same thing happen?

In your page, can you explain what HTML block should NOT be there?

  6. Yes, if I duplicate it it stays there.

    The whole:

"Stop Waiting. Take steps towards action today.

    Learn more
It is impossible to know everything. What's worse is if you pretend to. Read more here:

Avoid the lie of knowing everything"

Is not part of that form whatsoever.

  7. Can you send me a WordPress admin login for that site please? Via email to chris@rocketgenius.com - I'd like to take a look at the forms. Thank you.

  8. Is there a way to do this over skype or phone? I can screen share and do it with you.

  9. Okay it turns out it was because I had a list in an HTML block on the form. Is there a way to make lists without it showing before its conditionally supposed to?

Posted 12 years ago on Tuesday July 24, 2012 | Permalink
  10. Yes. There is no restriction on using list items in your HTML block. Sounds like the HTML was invalid in some way?

Make sure you use single quotes and not double quotes in your html in the block if you were trying to add css classes or whatnot.
