Form does not display when conditional logic is enabled

  1. Hello

After extensive troubleshooting I have come to the conclusion that my gravity form will not display if conditional logic is enabled.

I have checked to make sure the header file includes the wp_head() function and the footer includes the wp_footer(). I have also tried the form with twenty ten activated and still nothing. Also for some reason the total does not calculate the price.

    Gravity Form Version 1.6.11
    Wordpress Version 3.5

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Found the issue! Jetpack is conflicting with gravity forms! If you activate it you are fine but the minute you connect jetpack to wordpress.com the whole thing goes to shit. Once you deactivate jetpack all is well with the world

  3. I have had the same frustrating problem on several sites. Jetpack is the issue. When enabled AND connected to WordPress.com, all Gravity Forms vanish from showing up on a page. However, if you view source, you can see them there. It's really weird. Please help.

  4. OK try this:

    Install and Activate Manual Control:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/manual-control/

Then activate jetpack and connect to wordpress.com

Activate each module you want to use one by one (test gravity form after each module activation). I have tried this method and the form works fine.

NB I have only activated the stats module as this is the only one im interested in at the moment.

    According to Manual Control Author:

"The Jetpack plugin by Automattic does something sneaky: it auto-activates new Jetpack modules. Instead of allowing you to opt in to new modules, Jetpack cheerfully activates them without your permission. These modules can change how your site works and looks." - In terms of gravity forms, this seems to be the case in that one of the modules that jetpack auto activates break the forms.

  5. Thanks for the tip. I will reply here if I figure out which specific module is causing the problem.

  6. So in my case, at least, it looks to be the Gravatar Hovercards module in Jetpack causing Gravity Forms to vanish from being displayed on a page. I tested it on two different site using two different themes, both with the latest versions of WP, GF and Jetpack.

Big note: I didn't need to install the Manual Control plugin to resolve this. All I had to do was deactivate that particular module.

Hope that helps someone else, but I also hope the issue gets resolved between Gravity Forms and Jetpack :)

  7. Thank you for that feedback. I have heard a couple reports of incompatibility with JetPack.

I too deactivated JetPack's Gravatar Hovercards (thanks for the tip willc) which stopped one of my forms with conditional logic from appearing.
