Form does not show

  1. After saving a new form it will not show when I try and preview the form nor when i try and insert it into a post. However, the form that came preloaded that i modified will show.

Ive tried twice in case i botched part of the set up but its still not working, the forms are all showing correctly in the edit screens but wont actually translate into a working form

  2. What actually happens instead of showing the form?

Please provide a link to your form which is embedded in a page.

The first step to troubleshooting is to test for theme and plugin conflicts:

  3. this isn't a theme or plugging conflict as far as I can tell as the preloaded form will show correctly both on the site and in preview.

when new forms are previiewed in the creator or in a live site page absolutely nothing shows. not even the form title.

unfortunately I can't set a page up to example this for you as I am on a mobile device however I will return and do so at my next opportunity

  4. Without a link to your site it will be more difficult to provide support. Please provide a link when you are able.

It sounds like your host is running out of resources though, most likely memory. Can you try creating a simple form with just a couple fields and see if that works OK? If it does, I would take a look at the amount of RAM available to both PHP and WordPress. You may need to contact your host to get that information.

  5. a link to the site is here: http://www.communitycustoms.info/
and a working form example is found here: http://www.communitycustoms.info/submit-a-question/

I seem to have narrowed the problem down a little further to being a result of using dynamic fields (where they only show if certain criteria are met.

forms not using this are fine.

As for memory here the information readout from my wordpress:

    PHP Version : 5.3.13 / 64Bit OS
    Memory limit : 90 MByte
    Memory usage : 56.77 MByte

Can you link to a form that isn't working? And can you take a look at this article and see if you can bump your available PHP and WordPress memory over 128MB.

This is called conditional logic and when a form with conditional logic fails to display, it's typically due to a JQuery or JavaScript error. Please provide a link to a page with a non-working form and we'll check there for errors which would prevent your form from displaying. Thank you.

  8. thanks for the advice I have managed to troubleshoot the issue and discover that forms with conditional logic cant be previewed however when they are made live they do work correctly

At some point, you should still find the time to pinpoint where the conflict lies, but if it is working front-end, it isn't as important.
