Form Not Saving

  1. Hello, I have had success in the past creating forms with gravity forms and really like the product. But this time, the forms are not saving.

I've read thru the forum on this issue and having spoken with the host, West. Host. Have also deactivate plugins to make sure there is not conflict. Also made sure it wasn't a browser issue.

So this is the DL.....I have made several attempts to create a form. The first attempt I was able to create a form, but when tested the information inputted into the fields would not save, and the notifications would not work. I started over and this time I could not save a form. I contacted the host, West Host, and they could not find any errors in account to signify that it was something on their end - php memory limit is set at 128 megs and mod-secure was fine.

Afterwhich I deleted everything, and started over. Still cannot save anything, although a window comes up that tells me everything is saved, and when I go to continue editing none of my work is saved and no form file has been saved. I also deactivated all plugins and it still will not work.

I have a developers package v. 1.5.2.8. Wordpress 3.2.1 Windows 7 Would appreciate your help with this issue. Thanks!

  2. Since posting this...I reactivated the test site and loaded gravity forms to it. The form works on it except when I add fields that require an URL. Then upon Submit the page goes to Page Not Found. The form does save however. I spoke to WestHost about this and they went thru the backend and can not find a difference between the two sites. I would appreciate it if you could shed some light on what might be happening here. Many thanks!

  3. Since the last post...and after much searching we found that the wp_rg tables were missing from the database...so we corrected that by copying the tables from the test site to the root dir site. Now we can save the form but the form does not appear on the page. Back to the drawing board.

  4. Ok finally able to resolve this....went into wp-content/uploads and found three gravity form zipfiles from previous plugin installs so deleted two earlier uploads. Still received oops! message, then deleted the two forms that I created and created a new one and used the manual shortcode as before and voila! it worked. So if you install, delete and reinstall, check your uploads to delete earlier gravity forms installs and delete forms as well and start over. I am taking the time to write these consecutive posts as I thought it might be helpful for someone else in the same predictament. Thanks.
