Form Password

  1. I am having issues with Wordpress page password redirecting users to the Wordpress admin login rather than to my form. Is there a way to implement a password on the actual form- they have to enter it before they can see the form and fill it out? Thanks!

  2. You can password protect the page where the form is embedded but you cannot protect the form itself with a password. Forms can't be used outside of a WordPress Page or Post.

Is that what you tried and it did not work?

You could also require that the visitor be a logged in user, but that seems like overkill for what should work straight away.

If you can provide a link to the page with the form on it, maybe we can provide more specific advice.

This WordPress Page is password protected (the password is gravity). It should still work fine and not redirect you to the wp-admin. (I just tested it to be sure)

  3. I am encountering a sudden problem with the wordpress page password- it just started yesterday. When you enter the password for the page, it takes you to the Wordpress admin login. Looking on the wordpress forum this has been a problem for many others in the past although I can't find a solution. I was just hoping to circumvent it with another solution, but it doesn't sound like there is one with the forms. Thanks!

  4. It doesn't sound like a Gravity Forms issue. If you need more help with Gravity Forms, or find out what the problem is, please let us know.
