Form resize

  1. Hi,

I've been looking for answers but struggling to find them. I am trying to recreate something like the form on http://www.borro.com but my form is way to big.

I need to make it smaller in height - http://www.regalpawnbroker.com the space between the fields is too big and when I make the fields smaller in height, the submit button halves in size.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. I'd like to echo this question. In general, (been using Gravity Forms for 2-3 years now) Gravity Forms out of the box always feel big and heavy. Are there any ready classes to simply decrease spacing between elements vertically or horizontally or both?

No, there isn't anything that adjusts the spacing of elements at this time. Currently, CSS changes are done on a site by site basis as what is okay for one person, as you know, is too large for another.

  4. Thanks David, Always good to know if something is possible or not. :)

Guess, I'd put this on my development wishlist then. :)

  5. Gordon,

I looked at your form and you're using the top label layout. If you want it to look more like the form you referenced, start by choosing the left label option. Then, if you remove the extra custom styles (padding, etc) that are in your theme stylesheet (line 1498), your form becomes a lot more compact.
