Form submitted, but not received

I have a large number of people submitting the same form. For 99% of the people it works fine. I receive the form, and they receive a confirmation, just as I designed it in Gravity Forms.

However, there is still that 1% who keep trying to submit the same form as everyone else but it doesn't work. They press the submit button but I don't receive the form and they don't receive the confirmation email.

What are some possible causes for Gravity Forms to not work for some users?

What kind of questions can I ask them to help troubleshoot the issue?

Does this happen to anyone else here?

  2. I'm not aware of any issue that would cause this to happen and i'm unable to replicate it. So there are no known causes.

The only thing I can suggest you ask them is a rundown of the operating system, operating system version, browser and browser version that they are using. Then find out exactly what data they are trying to enter in each field.

If you can reliably replicate this issue we would have something to go on. But it's difficult to debug an issue that we can't replicate.

I continue to have a small number of users who tell me they submitted the form, but I did not receive it. I suspect that it has to do with conditional logic because of the many forms I am using, the "problem" form is the only one that has conditional logic in it. I have disabled the conditional logic on the form and I'm running a test with few of my users. I'll report back with the results.

Well, I was wrong. Removing the conditional logic didn't help. I just had 4 people test the form without conditional logic and 2 of the submissions were not received (and consequently they did not receive their automated confirmation email.). I have also since learned that other Gravity Forms I am using are also not being received.

Obviously since this is my business I can't have a 50% success rate on my online forms being received. If there is anyone on the Gravity Forms team willing to check out my forms I would appreciate it, otherwise I'll have to find another solution, which I would really rather not do!
