Form to post being added to wrong categories

    Hi,

I've been using Gravity Forms for a few months now on a client site without any issues (love it!), however, we've been having some issues lately.

We have two forms (one public, one private) that are used to create posts that we then use for a directory - Users can pick a category using a drop-down.

The problem is that the posts are assigned to the wrong category. We've tried changing the categories, saving the form and then picking the right categories again, but it doesn't work. I went through the drop-down fields' values but the categories ID is correct, so I'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix it - deleting the form and starting over is not an option.

    Here's the form URL: http://bit.ly/eLMzJg
    The "Metro Area" are sub-categories.

    Any ideas?
    Please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. There is no way to debug this without accessing your WordPress admin and seeing how the form is setup. If you can send us a WordPress admin login for this site via our Contact Us form we can take a look.

Does your site have any custom code in place using API hooks or any kind of customizations you have written for Gravity Forms in place?

    Hi Carl,

I filled out the contact form on April 11, but haven't heard back yet so I'm not sure if it went through. Could you please let me know?

    Thanks!

  4. I am resending this. I had send this information to you via email earlier but apparently you did not receive it. I went ahead and recreated my test and took new screenshots.

I am unable to recreate this issue on your site. I submitted form id 12 and selected Dallas for the metro area and Attorneys for the Business/Service and submitted the form. It created a post with both of those categories selected as intended.

Screenshot of selections in form I made:

    Screenshot of Post information created:

Can you give me an example of how I should fill out the form to recreate this issue? I'm unable to do so in my tests.
