Forms show up randomly for customers (users)

  1. Our main form shows up for some, but not for others.

We used to utilize cformsII and went to Gravity because of the Conditional Fields... but we've had more people not be able to access the form (or even VIEW it). They get to the landing page and cannot see the form. I have to send them to our OLD cforms.

I've started to ask PC/MAC and Browser Version. I'll have to attain that information (as I know this will be helpful) but I just started. One user was on Chrome and Firefox and couldn't see the form. So far no Explorer 6.

I desire to move to developer... but I do not want to invest if this continues to happen (not a threat... just a ROI fact)
    Thank you in advance,
    -Matt

  2. I've checked in Firefox, Safari, Chrome & Opera on Mac and IE9, IE8, IE7, Firefox, Chrome & Opera on a PC. So far I haven't had any issues viewing the form.

It could be some other script or page element that's timing out and not letting the form or the rest of the content to load. Not sure, just throwing that out as a possibility.

It's going to be hard to tell more without some more specific case data to work with. I know you said you've asked for that so we'll be happy to look again fresh when you do find out.

Could be there's an old script that is cached from cforms, and the users are revisiting and pulling in the cached script in their browser, instead of the new one on your server?

  4. Kevin: thanks for checking. I'll attempt to get some data on this. For most, they see it just fine. But I've had about 9-10 people come up short... and they can't view it at all.

Kyle: Good thought. I do know that the last that ordered (and couldn't see the form) was a returning client. However, I believe we've had brand new clients (who haven't visited) have issues as well. But I will track that too.

    Thanks again for the posts!
