    Is it possible to add information to the notes area for Freshbooks based on the form input? Could I use merge tags to personalise the notes?

    This is a good question. I see the notes field but I don't believe shortcodes or merge tags will be executed there because it's too late. I will bring it to the developers attention to see what's possible.

    You might also be able to tell from looking at the wp-content/plugins/gravityformsfreshbooks/api/*.php files to see what's possible with hooks or PHP.
