Give the user ability to cancel their own paypal subscription with Paypal Pro?

  1. How can I give the user ability to cancel their own recurring paypal subscription? Meaning, I would like the user to be able to log into their Wordpress account and then there would be a link "cancel subscription" and it would send the info (I assume transaction id, etc) back to paypal and then "cancel" the recurring payments with paypal and "deactivate" them as a valid user on the Wordpress site.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

  2. When setting up PayPal Pro subscription payments, please keep in mind that the only way to currently cancel a subscription is via the entry details in the WordPress Dashboard or your PayPal account.

PayPal will communicate back to your site via IPN when a recurring payment profile has been canceled.

Your user would need to have access to your form entries to do this - which I would assume you wouldn't want to do. We don't have a way to tie a specific entry to a user via a role permission.
