Going CRAZZZZYYY...

  1. Hi, I have spent days now...and I am at the end of my rope...I need a custom wp-sign-up form...

I got Gravity Forms Registration form all set up to do this however it is doing one thing...that is a problems.

When it creates the user new site it is also creating them as a subscriber to my site and listing my site as their primary site with an admin. Normally this does not happen...am I doing something wrong and can this be changed.

Please reply as soon as you can...

  3. Hi Salguerotina,

The User Registration currently always creates the user as a subscriber of the root site first and then assigns that user to the newly created blog if that blog creation is activated. We will likely add an option to disable this moving forward. As far as setting the root site as the user's primary blog, this should not be the case. I did a quick test on my end and verified that the newly created blog is the user's primary blog.

Could you double check and confirm that the newly created site is not the user's primary blog on your end?

  4. Good Morning,
Yes you are right it does not make them the primary site and when I did it now they have nothing in the dashboard for my site as well..

One other thing to note....in normal MPMU signup if they are logged in it recognizes this and shows there current blog and add a blog form...

If I click on my signup page (GravityForms) it does not recognize me a current registered account...is this something I need to set or is it something in the form I need to add...

  5. Hi Salguerotina,

Your GF sign-up form will not recognize that you are logged in; however, it is possible to achieve relatively easily.

Two things to consider... Do you want the user to be redirected to a different page if they're already logged in? or do you want to simply display different content on that page if they are logged in?
