Google maps information lost when field validation is run

    Have a form here http://www.solarresources.blueplanetdns.com/quote-request/

    Once the user has filled in their postcode then can then drop a marker on the google map further down the page.

    However, if the user leaves and required fields empty and then submits the form, triggering the field validation, the google map is not reloaded and the marker position is lost etc.

    How do I stop this from happening?

    Because you have AJAX enabled - you will have to redeclare scripts that may be functioning. You can use this to do so:

    Or you could try disabling AJAX perhaps?

    I had actually enabled ajax to see if that worked as without ajax I was having issues. With ajax turned off we are closer. Once submit has been hit and the form errors are displayed the Google map now loads., however, the maps zoom level and marker are lost.
