Gravity form pre submission query

  1. I have just this moment bought a license because i really like the gravity forms. however i have a question that is stumping me and preventing me from completing a project. i have a form ready to submit but i would like the user to see what they have filled out before they submit the form. I understand that is this possible. i have tried the tutorial found here: http://gravitywiz.com/better-pre-submission-confirmation/ but nothing works. my form just hangs with the preloader just looping round and round. is there a remedy for this? any help will be greatly appreciated as this is the only stubmling block i am facing.

the form is located here: http://www.theflower-rooms.co.uk/order-by-phone

  2. is the only way to get the user to see what he/she has submitted utilising this pre-submission code change in the theme functions.php? the form works without it fine. its a shame that the pre-submission is whats holding the form up

  3. I PAID FOR SUPPORT HERE AT LEAST 24 HOURS AGO AND I AM NOT GETTING ANY HELP. is this how a paying customer is treated? not even a 'i am not sure but i will find out' message? i tried the pre-submission tutorial and i have run into problems and no replies have been given

Hi there, you are being treated the same as every forum member, we aren't trying to avoid your questions, but are just busy giving everyone support. Please read the following: http://www.gravityhelp.com/support-times/

Can I have you try out regular troubleshooting steps to confirm that it is indeed an issue with the customization relating to the pre-submission confirmation?
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Also, are you using the latest Gravity Forms and WordPress versions? The customization you've pointed at was created by a third party. You might want to contact David about the issue you are having, as he is good about responding to people on his site.

Hopefully, with some effort, working together we can get you all sorted out.

  5. hi there

i am using version Gravity Forms Version 1.6.4.2.1 and Wordpress Version 3.5.1, i have followed the tutorial in that i have copied the php code to the theme's functions.php and have tried to view the pre submitted fields by entering {all_fields} in the HTML content placeholder area without success.

    Many thanks

Yes, he is away on vacation for a week. I'm not certain if he will be answering the odd e-mail or support request. I could go over your implementation of the code and make sure it matches the example given, and see if I can figure out what the issue is, but I'm not expert with his custom code. If you'd like me to take a look, can you send me admin level WordPress login details to peralty@rocketgenius.com

Can you please upgrade your Gravity Forms version to the latest as it might work better with the tutorial.
