Gravity Forms as a Volunteer Booking System

  1. My organization utilizes volunteers quite heavily, and generally we are required to create sign-up opportunities that will be a day, start time, finish time, description of the job requirements and how many people we need.

    For example:

    Volunteers needed to run concession:

    Tuesday, May 10th - 2012
    2:00pm - 4:00pm
    Concession volunteers required (3)
    Volunteer 1 - Sign-up
    Volunteer 2 - Sign-up
    Volunteer 3 - Sign-up

When someone signs up for an available spot, it needs to not allow any more sign-ups for that spot, and show that it is filled with the person's name (or a placeholder like "filled")

Currently we use a Third Party system called Sign-up Genius to do this, but we'd like to incorporate it on our own website.

I would love to utilize Gravity Forms for this, so we can collect detailed info on our volunteers when they sign-up, but wondering if this is possible on it's own?
