Gravity Forms as e-commerce

  1. Hi Guys,

No problems, just thought I would post this for your reference. We just setup this site using Gravity Forms (with the paypal component) as the sole e-commerce system:

    http://becwinnel.com/shop/

    http://becwinnel.com/product/heather-3/

    Cheers

  2. Looks very nice.

How did you realize that? I mean how did you do the dropdown thing that interacts with the price that changes with different dropdown options?

Would be very nice of you, if you could give some more information.
    Thanks in advance.

  3. @Daniel These are features of Gravity Forms v1.5 which is currently a development/beta release on the Downloads page. It will be released as a final public release very soon, finishing up the new web site as we speak.

  4. @Daniel These - Carl pretty much covered your question - but I will reiterate by saying that creating those options and more generally creating a product form is as easy as the rest of Gravity Forms.... ie. very easy.

  5. I had to reinstall Gravity Form beta and now I'm not getting anything on my admin. I can see it in the Plugins but not in the tools or whatever.

What do I need to do?

  6. @jporter72 So you have Gravity Forms installed and activated but you don't see the Forms menu item on the left hand side?

Are you using the Members plugin or another plugin to manage Roles/Capabilities? If so the problem may be it has given you the access rights to see the Forms menu item. You would need to edit the Administrator role and make sure all the Gravity Forms related capabilities are checked.

  7. Wow - this is really cool! Am I missing something, or is there not an "add to cart" feature on that site? Would there be a way to make that work?

  8. @convolare i'm not sure what you mean by "add to cart" feature. There is no shopping cart in Gravity Forms.
