Gravity Forms E-mail notifications

  1. When using e-mail notifications, I notice when I receive my e-mails from GRavity Forms they say my "From" email and then "via gator1699.hostgator.com", hostgator being my hosting provider. Is there a way to make this read a different domain such as mail.mydomain.com? Is that something that is set through wordpress, or needs to be set on my hosting platform?

Checking the google support page regarding the 'via' extra information that gmail displays, suggests that you need to edit your domains dns to add spf and dkim txt records

You can find out more about setting up SPF in this article by Joost de Valk

You might also be better installing a Wordpress smtp plugin such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
