Gravity Forms in popup - views count for form isn't updated

  1. Hey guys,

I have embedded several gravity forms in popups that are enabled simply by toggling display: none and display:block. These forms' view counts aren't updated. The entries are counted just fine but not the views. That means the conversion rate becomes useless and I need that to work.

How can I fix it? I'm running v1.4.5

    Thanks,
    E

  2. You would have to provide more details as to how you are creating the popups. Are these new pages that are being popped up? Modal windows using CSS and Javascript? Please provide more details. The view count should be incremented anytime a form is displayed, regardless if it is hidden with CSS or not. It can't take into account how you are showing/hiding the form.

  3. Thanks for your reply, Carl.

    Please have a look here

And click the button "ta kontakt". That's the Gravity Form. It's added with the PHP function and views are not counted, even though it's on the page to begin with.

However, I just checked the stats, and I see the counters have started updating now. Which makes me wonder - is there a delay on the increment? Does it not happen immediately?

    Cheers,
    Eivind

  4. There should not be a delay. Are you running any kind of caching plugins such as WP Super Cache? If so we recommend using W3 Total Cache as it works with Gravity Forms so it doesn't cache Gravity Forms queries.
