Gravity forms not compatible with Sermon Browser, sending empty E-Mails

  1. As described in this topic (http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/form-entries-not-saved), Notifications are not sent out correctly because of another Plugin: Sermon Browser. Field entries are not being saved. You see there are new messages (because of the number), but somehow they aren't being shown and it always is "There are no notifications..."). I would be glad if there could be a solution for both plugins not working with gravity forms. Someone has to make the first step :-(

  2. Can you post a link to your site? Maybe we can what the conflict is right off the bat.

  3. I reactivated Sermon Browser for you to test. This is the page with the form at the bottom: http://kinderbuero.doppeldecker.info/doppeldecker/bild-upload/
    Tell me if you need more info.

  4. I submitted a file with my email address. Should I receive an email notification?

    I think I will need an administrator log in for the WordPress site. Or, is there an easy way to recreate the problem? If I install the Sermon Browser, should the problem with notifications and missing entries be apparent on my site?

  5. No, there's no Notification for senders. I'll give you access to the backend. See your twitter mails.

  7. I took a look at your site and it is definitely something with the sermon browser plugin. It is preventing the entry from being created and also causing the administrator notification email to be blank. I looked through their plugin code to see if I could spot what would cause this, but I did not find anything. Have you contacted their support already?

    I did spot this in their code which seems related:

    [php]
    * Intercepts Wordpress at earliest opportunity. Checks whether the following are required before the full framework is loaded:
    * Ajax data, stylesheet, file download
    */
    function sb_hijack()
