Gravity Forms Not Sending to Email Exchange

  1. I have a few clients who are/want to use Gravity Forms.

they are not receiving their form notification emails from Gravity Forms.

I think the issue lies that their email system are on an exchange server and then their hosting is on another server. It looks like nothing is being delivered to their exchange from gravity forms.

I have told them it will be to do with their email server thinking that the notification are spam as the emails are coming from a different server.

I understand you dont really support this but i was just hoping that you would have any suggestions at all? I have tried the SMTP plugins but they dont seem to make a difference either.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated

  3. Hi Mykey

Thanks so much for the help.

I found the reason, the hosting company (hostgator) had set up the emails to be sent through the the hosting, even though the emails were through the exchange.

I went into MX Entry Records and changed this to be Remote Emails and deleted the standard catchall email in there.

This seems to have fixed the issue.
