Gravity Forms + prettyPhoto

  1. I am trying to set up a gravity forms SIGN-UP form using prettyPhoto. This form will just require the user to insert a phone number and their name.

I was able to get the form on the prettyPhoto using hidden inline content, the problem that I am having is that there is validation/notification messages when clicking submit. For example when the form has not been filled out and I click submit, the prettyPhoto closes and so there is no sign of error messages. The same issue occurs if i fill the form correctly, and submit it, there is no messages, so users won't know if there info was submitted, the prettyPhoto just closes.

    Can anyone please help?

Thank you in advance. I am loving Gravity Forms. :)

  2. Are you using AJAX on the form embed and can you post a link to the page in question?

  3. Unfortunately, I am working locally. I was not using AJAX on the form, after seeing your message, I enabled it, and now the prettyPhoto does not close neither when submitting blank nor when filled out. I still do not see messages though, I would like to see messages. Is there anyway to do this?

Thank you very much for such great fast support. I was not expecting such a fast response, I appreciate it.

  4. No problem, glad to help out. Not sure what's going on with your messaging unless there is some kind of plugin/theme conflict possibly. Since it's local, I'm kinda blind here, but you can follow the instructions here to check for that if you'd like: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Also, here is a tutorial people have used on Gravity Forms in a lightbox type of modal window if you wanted to try this one out instead:

  6. Hello Rob,

I was able to post the website online, the form pops up using the button on the top right corner of the website, the button reads "Sign Up For Text Alerts!".

Again, the problem that i am having is that i receive no validation errors when the form has not been filled out, and having two required fields it should come up with an error message. When the form has been submitted correctly, I do receive a validation message.
