I am running WP3.0 and Gravity 1.3.13 and I get four or more copies of the notifications sent to the Admin and the same to the user.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this ?

don't feel bad, your not alone.. I get 2 emails (and 2 entries in admin as well)
I just stopped caring lol....
(of course would take some guidance if anyone has any)
@Jesse
I still haven't been able to replicate your the double post/entry issue. I have 5 separate WordPress installs on 2 different hosts besides several local copies. I've tried with different setups, different plugins, etc. and so far haven't had an issue.
Did you see my last reply on the other thread?
@kirkpoconnor
If you refer back to that same thread, you'll see that we've been looking into this. Our programmer said he's seen an instance or two of this, but each time it was a plugin conflict.
Sorry that I don't know exactly which plugin, but you might try disabling all of your other plugins, testing the form. If that works, then re-activate plugins, testing form again each time until you find the culprit. I wish I had a quick answer for you, but it's going to take some more detective work.
Sorry Kevin, I had thought I was subscribed to that other thread, must not have been.. I have gone through and disabled all my plugins which didn't change anything, only thing I haven't tried is checking my functions.php file for anything thats mucking things up... will get to that in the next few days and let you know what I find.
Jesse,
Thanks. Anything you can find will be welcome information we can pass along to others. I'll keep digging here and let you know if I find something.
thanks for the prompt reply. Seems like this is a tricky one.
I consistently (every time) get 4 email notifications from this site each time. 4 go to the admin and 4 to the person who sent the form.
I have Gravity forms installed on 10-20 sites at present and use the same set up plugins apart from a couple and I turned them off with no difference.
The theme is a ModThemes one with little change from the original.
Can't see too much untoward happening in the functions.php
More info - this is actually happening on the site - if I look at 'entries' I actually have 4 copies of each entry.
It happens on multiple forms and happens every single time a form is submitted.
The client is getting impatient for a fix
@kirkpoconnor There is no way for us to debug this without having access to your site. It is something specific to that site and not a widespread issue so we would have to look at that site to determine the problem. You can send us a WordPress admin login via our Contact Us form and we can take a look.
thanks Carl. Info sent today via contact form.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
I now have another site doing this - 4 copies of each form to both the notifications email addresses. This is on a site on a different server and it is a pretty stock standard install with a very bland vanilla theme.
Haven't had a response for a couple of weeks now.
Can someone please update the status on this for me.
thanks
We dropped you a line about this earlier, you should have received an email. I went ahead and looked at it again and i'm unable to recreate the issue you described, using a Test Form I created as well as using your 2 forms.
If you look at the Entries for the Reservation Request you will see 2 entries with no duplicates... I only received one notification email also. See the screenshot below, I cut it off before the next legit request:
I also tested with the Contact Villa di Bucu Bali form and had no problems. I submitted 2 entries with no duplicated. See the screenshot below:
Have you changed anything with your themes or plugins? Because i'm unable to recreate the issue when I submit the forms.
Thanks for having a look.
After seeing that you did not have the problem I tried to send a form again and still received 4 copies and there were four copies in the entries list as well.
I dropped you an email with regards to that as well.
If we can work out why you only get one copy and me and my client and his customers get 4 then we might be able to fix this.
Hey Kirk, I did receive your email and we are going to investigate further. I will probably be submitting more test entries, etc. just to give you a heads up. It doesn't make much sense why i'm not able to reproduce the issue.
One bit of information that may help is what browsers and operating system are you submitting the forms on? I can't see how this would matter but any additional information may help us given how odd the issue is. It is unusual that we aren't able to reproduce it ourselves, even on your site.
I am getting TWO copies of every email sent from my contact form. http://www.casadekathy.com/contact.
This problem started a few days ago after I edited the form. Prior to that, I got only one copy of the form. I had another Contact form (not a Gravity Form) called "Contact" - so I renamed that Contactorig and then named my Gravity form "Contact". I also edited some fields. I also installed "Simple Facebook Connectivity" Plug-in. by Otto.
HEY!! Problem solved - I just deactivated everything in Simple Facebook Connectivity. Now I get only one message... at least when do the test myself.
Kathy
Two copies stopped and now I the person completing the form is getting a copy of the email. Before I deleted the Simple Facebook Connectivity, the user was not receivinga copy.
Kathy
You will need to contact the author of Simple Facebook Connectivity and notify him of the issue. Something in his plugin is doing something it should not and interfering with the form submission process. Gravity Forms is simply doing a post so the SFC plugin shouldn't be doing anything to interfere with that action, but obviously is.
Well, I never started using Simple Facebook Connectivity. I may de-install it because my contact form is more improtant to me. Thanks, Kathy
