Is it possible to group a form (parent record) with multiple sub-forms (child records)? I need to create an event registration form for multiple conferences where the main Delegate can register their family members or other staff. Some of their events only allow the main Delegate to bring one Companion while other events allow an unlimited number of Companions to be registered.
The Companion's form collects their contact information but also gives them the opportunity to book Companion specific social activities for the conference. The main Delegate will enter their personal contact information and book their own social activities along with sessions within their main form. I want the main Delegate to be able to complete the Companion registration page(s) in the last Step of the registration form before they complete everything. Some of the events also includes payments for the main Delegate or even the Companion. If a payment is required for the companion, then the main Delegate will have to process the payment at the end of the main registration (parent) form.
After completing the registration form, the main Delegate will receive an email confirmation with their own information but also their Companion's registration and payment information.
The database will need to track the main Delegate and Companion as separate records and assign them individual IDs but they need to be grouped together by a Group Code or some type of Group ID.
Sample Form:
Step 1 - Personal Information
Step 2 - Accommodation page
Step 3 - Travel page
Step 4 - Social Activities page
Step 5 – Companion(s) Personal Information (Ability to register more than one Companion)
Step 5.1 - Companion Social Activities page
Step 6 - Verification page (summary of registration)
Step 7 - Payment page (if required)
Step 8 - Thank You page
