Has anyone found for Icontact plug in problems

  1. Hi I bought gravity forms believing this was the solution to my horrible icontact sign up forms in wordpress - but discover that this add on does not work. It seems other people are having the same problem that the add on enables me to select the icontact list but when I try to select the form - the "wait icon" goes on endlessly. Has anyone had this problem and successfully resolved it. Could it be a firefox problem or a Mac problem???

The developer says he will look into it when he has time but suggests that if it is essential that this plug in work that I hire a developer. Of course it is essential

If i can't get a solution to this I will need my money back.

  2. Hi Claire,

You're talking about a third-party add-on and not something we support. If that doesn't work, why would you expect us to refund your Gravity Forms purchase? That doesn't make a lot of sense now does it.

You'll need to work with the third-party developer on that. We don't support add-ons that we didn't release.

  3. I actually am looking for the solution to the problem - along with many others that have caught out by this. And was seeking that from the membership - because it was clear from the forum that Gravity Forms personnel are not able to help. I have sought help from the third party developer and not got a very encouraging response so I came to this forum in desperation. But I would be interested to know if Gravity Forms are working on an add on for Icontact that works. It tis very frustrating to buy a product and then discover it does not work.

  4. Currently we're not working on an iContact add-on but we'll be happy to work with the developer with any Gravity Forms integration he may need. I'm not sure what we could offer to help as far as this issue but will be happy to assist if there are any actual Gravity Forms functionality issues.

  5. It seems like the iContact integration plugin has been pulled from the WP database leaving my client high & dry. I know it is not Gravity's job but any help would be appreciated

Hi Jocelyn, the only help I can give is to let you know that Gravity Forms is highly extendable, and if you want to send data to a service like iContact, it would require some PHP development.

The hook you would want to use to get the data to iContact from Gravity Forms would be Gform_after_submission.

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_after_submission

The page includes a tutorial on how to send data to a third party. You would want to find out how iContact needs data sent to them and format your functions.php to include the hook and format your form data correctly for their service.
