    how do I do a manual upgrade?

    I have the earlier version with full support of course I am trying to upgrade to 1.4.5 and i did a batch plugin upgrade that did not work but it is no longer showing the ability to do an automatic upgrade so how do i do it without losing my forms?

    It's pretty much the same as installing via FTP. Follow the FTP instructions here:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/installing-gravity-forms/

    Only you will overwrite the existing gravityforms folder with the new one.

    No. The existing forms/entries are stored in the database so deleting/overwriting the plugin files themselves won't impact your forms.
