Hi all ,
I am using a GF on a political site where I have radio buttons to let visitors check a predetermined amount for a donation or contribution. I am currently using PayPal but have just bought cart66 ( formerly PHPurchase) as it allows to integrate a cart into GF to collect $ using PayPal, and a gateway like Authorize.net.
Here is an example of what I am trying to do.
Visitor comes to the site to make a donation and selects the $100.00 radio button they proceed to the cart and there is a "continue shopping button" they decide to increase the amount and select "$250.00 radio button" this would put the amount by law allowed over the legal maximum limit of $250.00
I am wondering if there is a way to add a "conditional statement to the GF" so that it will not let the total amount exceed $250.00
* I am hoping that this can be accomplished via the form and is not a cart66 issue, but realize it might need to have something addressed there as well.
I hope that I have explained the above clearly.
Here is a URL of a test page ( made private ) where you can see what I am talking about if you add an amount to the cart and then increase it. - note on this test page the transaction will not let you make the actual transaction as I have not hooked the cart up yet until I can solve this problem.
Here is the URL I mentioned above
http://davisforhartfordtreasurer.com/test-transaction/
you can see what I am talking about when you advance the form and it takes you to the cart

Once on this page I can just keep adding more and more purchases - and I need to be able to cap the total amount allowed to $250.00
Know this might be a complicated one- many thanks to any and all that take the time to respond- hope i can play if forward on something else.
