How do I set a field to confirm an email address already entered?

    Hi:

    I would like to have a field where the visitor can fill in their email address. I would like to have another field below that one where they enter their address again as confirmation that the address is typed correctly in both fields. Is this possible, and if so, how do I set that up?

    Thank you in advance. Here's the page and current form:

  2. There currently isn't a built in method to compare fields but we'll be adding that functionality in a future release.

  5. A user has posted a method to do email field comparisons using the built-in hooks. It's something you could use until the functionality is added to the Gravity Forms core.

    As 6months since this thread, I was wonder if there is a function in the new updated version of Gravity Forms to do this? I'm looking at upgrading and it is a specific request of the client's.

    @Sophie

    The Email field has a checkbox in it's properties called "Enable Email Confirmation".

  9. Yes, this feature was added and is an option on the Email field. There is a checkbox to "Enable Email Confirmation" that then shows a 2nd field and requires the user to populate both.
