How to add field at the beginning of very long form

  1. I have very long form that needs a revision - adding more fields at the beginning.
So far it can only add fields at the very end of form, and then I am facing big hassle to hold-drag this field to the top.

Is there a easier way to add/insert new field at the beginning/middle of form?

As far as I know the only to get your field to the top of form is to start to drag it upwards and then at the same time hit the home key on your keyboard which will take you to the top of the page at which point you can release the field. I regularly use this method when using chrome on windows.

  5. Oh! Good tip! Thank you! I guess page up and page down would let you navigate as well. Not only all the way to the top.

Another tip: If I already have a field on top of the form, that is the same kind of field I need to add, I just copy this existing field and change the copy. It will be copied under the existing field (so it is already at the top of your form ;-)
