How to Email Form Contents to Admin

  1. How do I get the form contents emailed to me?

You set-up a Notification. Under Form Settings you'll see the option available. A default one should already exist, e-mailing the information to the first admin account created on your WordPress blog.

  3. How do you CC someone else for admin notification? I see the BCC option but no CC option?

You would create another notification for the person you want to CC. You can set as many notifications as you want on a per form basis and have all or only one of them fire using conditions.

Is there any way to actually use the CC field? When using a task manager like Asana, the person it goes to is assigned the task, and the CC field allows those individuals to follow the task. Outa luck for now? I thought for sure I'd see a CC in there. Maybe some tricky function hook, eh...?

You would have to use PHP and build the CC list manually. I wouldn't recommend it. The reason we don't have a CC field is because we have the send to e-mail field that allows for a comma delimited list, and a BCC field, and you can create as many notifications as you want that all fire. We wanted to keep things simple, and most people didn't need the CC field.

Ah, ha. Thanks for the details. There is always some exception out there, isn't there?! I suppose this is another one of those edge cases. foo... Asana is a very popular project management tool, and perhaps I'll have to tap them on the shoulder to consider some alternatives to assigning followers. It's great to have Gravity Forms create tasks for us now! The issue comes in having followers (with CC) added: http://asana.com/guide/tags-email/email-incoming
Oh well for now... Thanks again!

Have you looked at Zapier? It allows you to bridge Gravity Forms and Asana.
