how to get info from the parent (custom) post

  1. I use a GF form to create child posts. The first field is a dropdown where the user should select the parent post. My problem is that I get the value returned for the dropdown and not the description field.

My question is: how to populate the dropdown and also get the data avaliable from all the custom post fields of the parent so it can be used to display information on the child post

    Hope someone can help

  2. How are you populating the drop down now?

What is the "description field" you're referring to?

Can we see an example of this form functionality online somewhere?

And, assuming you get all the information you need from your parent post, what do you need to do with all that information?

The more specific your information the better we'll be able to help you. Thank you.
